The two excursions begin start at a challenging pace and are best for those able to push themselves for the first couple of days. The Toubkal ascent in two days is for the able-bodied and determined. The valley hike is not as arduous, but does require maintain a steady pace. After both treks, a leisurely four days in the Sahara are a welcome break.
