An incredible day-trip bike journey through the heart of Berber country will take you through the primary valleys of the Toubkal region. With the majestic Atlas Mountains as the backdrop, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in Berber culture and interact with the local population while you take in the unforgettable scenery of the Atlas Range scenery.
We’ll begin our ride in the foothills of Mount Toubkal on after checking our bikes and gear, ascending the challenging Tizi n’Tamatart at 2230 m, atop this high mountain pass, we can take in the stunning views of the High Atlas, frequently snow-capped and always majestic. From Wanskra village, we’ll continue via a dirt track winding down through the valley, and overlooking the deep riverbed (wadi), and terraced mountainsides dotted with villages that seem to dangle precariously. We’ll finish in Asni, where the ride terminates, enjoying lunch, then the transport is provided back to Marrakech.
