The climb to the summit of Mount Toubkal, at 4167 meters the highest peak in north Africa will give you a great vantage point to see the breathtaking views of the Atlas mountains, the lush green valleys and surrounding countryside, as well as the chance to immerse yourself in the traditional Berber culture of the region. You will be accompanied by expert local guide, cook and muleteers through a fascinating and beautiful world that you will remember as the adventure of a lifetime. Jebel Toubkal is a trekking peak which involves no climbing. As the ascent is non-technical, it is designed for avid hikers, but does involve some easy scrambling and there are snow slopes from November through April, which require use of crampons and ice axes for security. The views from the summit are panoramic, from the mountains to Marrakech to the north, and the edge of the Sahara to the south, with the jagged and majestic peaks of the High Atlas stretching as far as the eye can see.
