Frequently Asked Questions

Mount Toubkal (4,167m) is a non-technical climb, meaning no previous mountaineering experience or ropes are required. However, it requires a reasonable level of physical fitness as you will be hiking 5 to 7 hours per day uphill. We recommend regular cardio training like hiking or running before your trip.
We recommend sturdy broken-in hiking boots, warm fleece/down layers, waterproof jacket, sun protection (glasses, hat, sunscreen), sleeping bag, and a daypack. If you don't have crampons or trekking poles, they can easily be rented in Imlil village before the trek.
